The grapes come from the Csillag Valley in Villány where the soil is mainly loess. The 19 year old vines yield 1,5 kg per stock. The berries were destemmed and then the juice was left in contact with the skins for 3 weeks. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks without added yeast and aged for 7 months. It was bottled without filtration and fined with betonite, so this is a vegan friendly wine. It’s a mature, balanced, intense Portugieser with creamy texture, lots of fruit, enlivened by fine acidity and tannic structure.
