Kreinbacher Estate – Furmint, 2019

After sorting the grapes were pressed without destemming and fermented mostly in steel tanks and the rest in barrels. It was aged for 9 months before bottling. Clean and cool, showing unmistakable Somló character. Besides the pear and citrus notes typical of Furmint the minerality of the wine region is also clearly discernible. It’s a refreshing, dynamic wine with zesty acidity and a capacity to add further layers of complexity through bottle ageing.
