The calling card of the winery, it’s a synthesis of grapes from five different vineyards (Hangács/Dorgó/Betsek/Kakas/Szent Tamás). The goal was to create a supple but substantial wine that is able to convey the complexity typical of the wine region.
The nose is remarkably pure, a clear expression of the variety with above average intensity. A panoply of orchard fruit, mostly ripe apples, pears and peaches, but also citrus, grapefruit, unripe bananas, white flowers, herbs and even some delicate notes of roasted seeds. It’s an elegant wine that is easy to drink but at the same time it’s full of excitement, flavours and vivacity. Round acidity that provides proper backbone. The alcohol is not low but far from excessive. The palate offers apples, quince, unripe pears, some melon and roasted sesame seeds. Well-knit texture. The persistent finish displays mineral and saline notes, telltale signs of the Tokaj terroir.
