Heimann & Sons – Szekszárd Kékfrankos, 2018

The new line of the Heimann Family puts the Szekszárd terroir and the unique Hungarian grape varieties in the limelight. The foundations are provided by the refreshingly savoury grapes produced by the young Kékfrankos vines. Bunches are picked and sorted manually and with great care. Fermentation is done with ambient yeast and a portion is whole-bunch fermented. The result is a Kékfrankos with explosive fruit and at the same time with great complexity of aromas. It reflects Zoltan Jr.’s idea of a bistro wine that is apt for everyday consumption.
