For the Mandolás Furmint estate wine the grapes come from several vineyards: Kútpatka, Mandulás and Gyapáros in Tolcsva and Budaházi in Olaszliszka. None of the grapes were affected by Botrytis. Following whole bunch pressing the must was settled overnight and then fermented in stainless steel tanks with a smaller fraction in wooden vats. It spent 6 months on its fine lees and this played a major part in achieving the desired complexity despite the unusually early harvest date. The wine was bottled in August 2019.
